Duties
- Lead engaging performances and interactive activities that entertain guests of all ages, including children and families.
- Manage event setups, including manual handling of equipment and props, ensuring everything is ready for seamless execution.
- Oversee guest services by providing friendly assistance, answering questions, and ensuring visitors feel welcomed and valued.
- Enforce safety standards by monitoring crowd behavior, conducting conflict management when necessary, and responding swiftly with first aid or CPR if emergencies arise.
- Handle cash transactions accurately during ticketing or merchandise sales while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth flow of events, including food service or theater performances if applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas, adhering to health and safety regulations related to hospitality and food handling.
Skills
- Proven experience in events management or hospitality roles with a focus on guest engagement.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
- Certified in first aid and CPR; capable of providing immediate assistance during emergencies.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or moving around large crowds.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Previous lifeguard experience or familiarity with water safety protocols is a plus.
- Experience working with children in entertainment or educational settings is highly desirable.
- Confident public speaking skills to engage audiences and lead group activities effectively.
- Background in food service or hospitality environments preferred; resort or theater experience is advantageous.
