Position Overview
We are seeking licensed psychiatrists and physicians who are interested in serving as collaborating/supervising providers for NPs in one or more states. This is a remote, flexible role that allows you to mentor NPs, apply your clinical expertise, and generate supplemental income — on your own schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Enter into state-compliant collaborative agreements with NP partners.
- Provide clinical oversight per state-specific requirements (requirements vary widely by state — MD-Match will guide you through each one).
- Review charts and consult with NP partners as required by your state’s regulations.
- Maintain documentation to satisfy state medical and nursing board standards. MD-Match assists with this as well.
- Participate in case discussions and mentorship as appropriate.
Compensation
Compensation is negotiated based on state- and practice-specific requirements. Rates will generally range from $400 to $800+ per collaboration per month, reflecting the complexity and regulatory demands of each state. Monthly workload is expected to be 1-2 hours per collaboration per month.
Additional increases apply when an NP requests collaboration across multiple states. Final compensation is always discussed and agreed upon prior to matching.

Qualifications
- MD or DO with active, unrestricted medical license in one or more U.S. states.
- Board certification or significant experience in psychiatry preferred; other specialties considered.
- DEA registration helpful but not required for all placements.
- Willingness to review and sign state-compliant collaborative agreements.
- Commitment to professional, timely communication with NP partners.
