Hose 22, LLC is seeking a part-time or full-time Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. As a unique dining destination in Rochester, we rely on accurate financial reporting and strong organizational support to help our management team continue delivering the exceptional customer service our community has come to expect.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and invoices using QuickBooks, processing weekly payroll through Paychex, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with a variety of accounting, analytical, and financial investigation tasks.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to manage confidential information, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and maintain vendor records thru Quickbooks
- Process weekly payroll through Paychex
- Record and reconcile restaurant and catering sales
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies within the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Prepare financial, operational, and management reports
- Reconcile financial records
- Assist with month-end closing and general bookkeeping tasks
- Support management with accounting, reporting, and special projects
- Perform a variety of administrative, analytical, and financial tasks as needed—no two days are the same
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 4+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks
- Experience processing payroll using Paychex
- Experience with Toast POS or other restaurant point-of-sale systems
- Proficiency with Apple products and macOS
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Experience with financial analysis or forensic accounting is a plus
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
