We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Fabrication Drafter to join a growing metal fabrication team in Rogers, MN. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD and Inventor experience who enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD and Inventor to produce accurate assembly and fabrication drawings
- Prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery and mechanical devices, including dimensions and fastening methods
- Analyze customer drawings for internal fabrication and production use
- Review drawings from other drafters to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Complete internal project documentation and time tracking
- Support fabrication and engineering teams as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2015 or newer) and Autodesk Inventor (Inventor experience required)
- Previous experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or sheet metal drafting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to pass a background check
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Typically 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible start time available)
- Monday – Friday
- Overtime may be available
