Logistics Driver – Flatbed Tow Operator (Class C)
Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Join a fast-growing autonomous ride-hailing company as it scales from R&D into full commercial launch — a rare chance to grow with the AV industry from the ground floor. As a Flatbed Tow Operator, you'll play a key role in vehicle recovery operations, helping the company become production-ready.
What You'll Do
- Safely recover company vehicles on public roads
- Operate flatbed towing equipment, including winching
- Tow combined gross vehicle weights up to 26,000 lbs (current flatbed GVWR: 20,000 lbs)
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT-compliant logs
- Communicate consistently with dispatch and ground support
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance (refuel, oil, tire pressure, minor repairs)
- Partner with logistics and cross-functional teams to deliver great service
What You Bring
- Valid Class C driver's license; clean driving record (no moving violations)
- 2+ years towing experience, flatbed preferred
- Ability to meet DOT physical/medical requirements and pass background/drug screening
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and get in/out of the vehicle repeatedly
- Strong communication and organizational skills; comfortable with ambiguity
- Flexibility with work hours; high school diploma/GED preferred
