Quality Inn – York, NE is hiring a Housekeeping Attendant.
This is a reliability-first position. We operate with a small team, and each team member is expected to show up on time, stay on task, and complete assigned rooms each shift.
This role is physically active and requires consistent effort throughout the day.
Schedule
- Typically 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Schedule may vary based on occupancy
What This Job Requires
- Reporting to work on time with regular and consistent attendance
- Cleaning guest rooms and public areas to hotel standards
- Performing laundry duties as needed
- Inspecting rooms and common areas for cleanliness and readiness
- Maintaining supply and linen inventory
- Responding to guest or management requests in a timely and professional manner
- Staying on task and completing assigned rooms each shift
- Working independently while supporting the team
What This Job Is NOT
- Not a “show up when you feel like it” job
- Not a low-effort or low-accountability position
- Not a flexible, last-minute schedule role
Schedule Expectations
We are a 24/7/365 operation.
All team members are expected to work some (not all) weekends to ensure fair coverage.
Pay
$15.00 – $17.00 per hour
(Advancement based on reliability and performance)

Qualifications
- Must be dependable and able to show up consistently
- Strong attention to detail required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must be able to communicate in English
- General knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to spend most of the shift walking, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
Work Environment
- Hotel setting
- Fast-paced during peak occupancy
- Team-oriented but independently executed work
