Duties

- Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, sensory activities, and play-based learning to stimulate curiosity and development.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques to create a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Support children’s emotional well-being by fostering social interactions, conflict resolution skills, and self-regulation.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child welfare initiatives.
- Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, supervising activities closely, and ensuring proper childcare standards are met.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children aged three years old in preschool or daycare settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education practices.
- Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, and physical education for young learners.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs including toddlers requiring special education or early intervention services.
- Certification in early childhood education or related field preferred; relevant certifications in childcare or daycare are advantageous.
