Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Handle food preparation and food handling responsibilities according to safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as SQUARE POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cashiering and retail math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food safety and sanitation protocols
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring product freshness
- Support food service operations by serving snacks, baked goods, or light meals as needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food industry with strong coffee experience
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food preparation techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining independence when needed
- Experience in serving customers in café or retail settings is highly desirable

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
