Warner Angle Hallam Jackson & Formanek PLC is currently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its distinguished team of highly skilled practitioners. For more than 67 years, businesses and individuals have depended on Warner Angle for the highest levels of legal skill, ingenuity, and personalized client service. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant Arizona litigation experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced professional office environment. Proficiencies in Adobe, Office 365, Microsoft Teams and Zoom are a must. Experience working with iManage and eDiscovery platforms a plus.
The ideal candidate must be organized, reliable, punctual, have a professional demeanor, and be friendly and outgoing. A meticulous attention to detail is a critical skill necessary to this position. Must also be proactive and self-motivated, able to multi-task, and solutions oriented. Strong writing and proofreading skills and a desire to learn, as well as a strict adherence to confidentiality is required. Strong time management and prioritization aptitude, and a willingness to be a flexible team contributor as projects and process continually evolve are critical traits. The litigation paralegal will be responsible for a broad scope of work, supporting multiple attorneys simultaneously, and managing a high-volume project flow. The candidate will need to routinely work collectively with members of our legal team at all levels.
Responsibilities include:
- Direct client, expert and third-party communication - document signings, procedure instructions, troubleshooting as needed
- Drafting documents - pleadings; disclosure statements; settlement conference memoranda
- Document management, including preparation of discovery and disclosure documents
- Collecting, managing, organizing, and reviewing large volumes of discovery documents electronically
- Preparation for trial and arbitration - drafting pre-trial statements, exhibits and exhibit notebooks
- Attend and participate in trial when directed
