Responsibilities: - Repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition - Perform body work including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening - Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming - Apply paint using airless paint spraying equipment - Weld and fabricate metal components as needed - Inspect vehicles for additional damage or issues that may need repair - Complete all repairs according to industry standards and safety guidelines - Keep work area clean and organized Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for body work - Strong welding skills for metal fabrication and repair - Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose and repair related issues - Experience working in a dealership or auto restoration shop is a plus Skills: - Proficient in using power tools for body work such as sanders, grinders, and polishers - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks - Skilled in using hand tools for precision work such as hammers, wrenches, and screwdrivers - Experience with welding techniques for metal repair and fabrication - Familiarity with airless paint spraying equipment for efficient paint application - Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and address related issues during repairs - Experience with auto restoration projects is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
