Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to resident care, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role by providing direct resident assistance, ensuring comfort, safety, and well-being under the supervision of a licensed nurse and according to established facility policy/procedures and the resident care plan.
Duties
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like lifts when necessary.
- Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments through tailored memory care techniques.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of state approved nursing assistant training program with current certification or ability to attend class and become certified. We will provide the training.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and infection control standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Sincere desire to care for geriatric residents
- Ability to follow facility policies, procedures, and instructions of the charge nurse
Preferred Skills
- Current member of the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant Registry and in good standing
Full-time or Part-time Evening Shift, or Part-time Day Shift
Shift Differential: $2.00/hr Evening shift
Retention Bonus: $5000.00 Full-time (Evening Shift only), $1000.00 Part-time (All shifts)
