What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic wounds across multiple care settings

Develop and implement evidence-based wound care treatment plans
-
Ensure care delivery meets current clinical standards and best practices
-
Provide education and guidance to facility staff on wound management and prevention
-
Address related acute and chronic primary care concerns and determine medical urgency
-
Order and interpret diagnostic labs and imaging as appropriate
-
Prescribe medications within scope of practice

Collaborate with supervising physicians and specialty providers as needed
-
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and billing
-
Apply strong clinical judgment in complex and evolving care situations

Travel onsite to multiple facilities within the Madison service area
What You Bring
-
Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner license in good standing
-
WOCN certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
-
Active BLS certification
-
DEA registration or eligibility to obtain

Strong clinical assessment and wound care skills

High emotional intelligence and strong patient communication skills

Ability to work independently across multiple sites

Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills

Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

1+ year experience in Internal Medicine and/or Wound Care

Leadership experience or strong clinical ownership mindset
