AllCare Medical Transport is seeking a Dispatcher to join our team part-time or full-time. The primary daily shift we need to fill in 5pm-12am. Prior Dispatch experience is a must - bonus for NEMT, Ambulance or medical related dispatch.
We are located in Flagler County, Florida, but this can be a remote position (U.S. Residents Only). As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the transportation of medical patients to and from hospitals, facilities and residential locations, ensuring timely and efficient service.
**Responsibilities:**
- Receive and prioritize transportation requests from clients and medical facilities
- Assign trips to drivers based on availability, location, and patient needs
- Communicate with drivers to provide necessary trip details and updates
- Monitor trip progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including pick-up and drop-off times
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address any concerns or feedback
**Requirements:**
- Prior Dispatch experience is a must - bonus for NEMT, Ambulance or medical related dispatch.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer systems and software (bonus if you have ever used Bambi or any NEMT dispatching software)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Afternoon and evening in the most needed.
