Position Summary
Responsible for making and serving drinks, checking IDs, collecting money, and making change in a friendly and professional manner, focusing on exceptional customer service and working safely.
Primary Responsibilities/Duties

Mixing ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.

Washing glassware and utensils after each use.

Pouring wine and beer.

Collecting payment and operate a cash register.

Checking identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol.

Determining when a customer has had too much alcohol.

Cleaning up after customers and clean work area.

Arranging bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
-
Counting money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.

Resolving customer complaints.

Calculating total payments received during a time period and reconcile with total sales.

Stocking and maintaining bar supplies.
-
Answering customers' questions and providing information about Powderhorn.

Other duties as assigned within the Food & Beverage area

Work Environment
This position is based inside and is exposed to high altitudes (8200+ feet). Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 8 hours), bend, stoop, reach, and lift/carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
