The Structural CAD Designer is responsible for drafting and designing a variety of engineering projects including both residential and commercial structures. In addition, the Structural CAD Designer will also help create master engineering plan sets, collaborate with engineers to run calculations, and ensure all designs comply with applicable building code requirements.

Draft and design engineering construction documents for custom and production homes, remodels, commercial buildings, and other miscellaneous projects

Ensure all designs meet safety specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements

Utilize company and industry standards to draft and design projects in CAD software

Assist in site visits as required and adeptly translate existing structures into comprehensive engineering plans

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be 18 years of age

Must be eligible to live and work in the United States

Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit experience is a plus)

Understanding of basic calculations and ability to use spreadsheets

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF software
