As a Security Officer Guard Card Patrol in Virginia Beach, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other designated areas, verifying access permissions, directing foot traffic, and communicating site rules and expectations in a professional manner.

Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, noting maintenance or operational issues, and sharing relevant updates during shift handoff and/or with management as needed.
Minimum Requirements:

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.
-
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
