Welcome, I've been operating a fine gardening company in the Monadnock Region for 20+ years. We have wonderful clients, maintain beautiful landscapes and collaborate with many other professionals in the region with excellent results. I have a strong horticulture and design background I will gladly share with you. We work Monday- Thursday with the occasional Friday requested. 7:30-4 . This is a seasonal position April- October.
Responsibilities
Garden maintenance, edging, weeding, mulching, pruning, deadheading, watering, spring and fall clean-ups. I love working with people who take creative pride in their work.
Work together with the team for garden installations, attention to detail about planting and follow up care to maintain our notable track record in horticulture.
Coordinating tools for the required work, communicating any losses in inventory for replacements.
We are fine gardeners with a landscaper's work ethic, brush hauling, wheelbarrow pushing, I prefer using a shovel over a trowel most any day, the occasional rock nudging. All of these tasks fall into our responsibility.
Requirements
-Excellent work ethic: timely arrival, energetic, attention to detail, good communication skills and willingness to ask questions, I will train anyone with these abilities
-Personal phone for texting and group texting
-Personal RELIABLE vehicle, valid driver's license, clean driving record
-Be able to lift 50 pounds.
-Work with a team and independently
-Have the stamina to work outside for the day.
-Rain gear, multiple pairs of work gloves, proper work sneakers/ boots, no sandals
-Must live within reasonable commuting distance to Peterborough/ Dublin, NH. Sometimes we have work to do even when the weather is terrible, I need to have some crew members on hand for such adventures, we do what we can to keep the time short in that case.
-Must be flexible to drive a work pick-up truck.
