Residential Remodeling Project Manager

About Us
Shunkwiler Renovations is a growing residential remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, basement finishes, window and door replacements, decks, and additions throughout the Lincoln area.
We're looking for an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of projects, lead crews, communicate with homeowners, and keep jobs moving forward without constant oversight.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong construction background who has already managed remodeling projects and understands what it takes to deliver a high-quality finished product.
RequirementsRequired Experience
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in residential construction
- Strong experience managing:
- Kitchen remodels
- Bathroom remodels
- Basement finishes
- Window and door projects
- Experience managing employees and subcontractors
- Ability to read plans, scopes of work, and project documents
- Strong scheduling and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
Preferred
- Previous remodeling company experience
- Experience with material ordering and vendor coordination
- Familiarity with project management software and construction documentation
- Proven history of successfully managing multiple remodeling projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and crew management skills
ResponsibilitiesClient Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact during construction
- Provide regular updates to homeowners
- Address concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Project Oversight
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Conduct regular jobsite walkthroughs
- Verify quality standards are being met
- Ensure projects stay on schedule and on budget
- Identify and solve problems before they impact production
Crew Leadership
- Lead employees and subcontractors
- Hold crews accountable for quality, cleanliness, and productivity
- Coordinate schedules and daily activities
- Maintain a professional and positive jobsite culture
Materials & Logistics
- Coordinate material orders and deliveries
- Verify quantities and quality of materials
- Work with suppliers to resolve shortages and backorders
- Minimize downtime caused by missing materials
