We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cake Decorator to join our team. If you have a love for sweet, cake, decorate and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Must have 2+ years of cake experience
- Creating, icing, and decorating cakes, cupcakes, and pastries using various techniques like piping, fondant, and airbrushing.
- Familiarity with decorating tools (e.g., piping bags, sculpting tools)
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Teamwork - ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while managing time effectively.
- Ensuring high-quality, precise, and consistent final products.
- Preparing fillings, icings, and assembling cakes to meet daily or special-order demands.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Food safety knowledge.
- Cleaning workstations and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed in the bakery environment.
