Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team in maintaining and repairing equipment and houses . Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance .
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including hydraulics, electrical systems (low voltage and high voltage), and mechanical components.
- Conduct diagnostics using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other analysis instruments to identify faults accurately.
- Repair plumbing , and do carpentry work.
- Repair or replace components such as motors, pumps, valves, sensors, and wiring in accordance with safety standards.
- Support field service activities by traveling to customer sites or manufacturing facilities to provide on-site technical assistance.
- Collaborate with technical sales teams to recommend upgrades or modifications that improve system performance.
- Operate heavy equipment like scissor lifts safely for access to elevated machinery or work areas.
- Follow schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems involving HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) components.
- Maintain safety protocols when working with high voltage systems or welding operations specific to <LOCATION> welding standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs or system status updates.
Experience
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently using multimeters such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Background in industrial electrician work or industrial maintenance roles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently in the field or within a team environment while maintaining high safety standards.
- Military experience related to technical maintenance or electronics is considered an asset.
