Benchmark Therapies is seeking weekday Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistants to join our caring, dedicated team at the PA Soldiers' and Sailors' Home in Erie, PA. This is a unique opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality care to the veterans who have served our country while being part of a supportive, relationship-centered therapy team.

What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality physical therapy treatments under the direction of the Physical Therapist
- Help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, safety, and confidence
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and quality of life
- Build meaningful relationships with residents while encouraging progress and participation
- Document patient progress using Net Health and facility systems
- Educate residents, families, and staff regarding therapy goals and functional outcomes
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused therapy culture where support and ideas are shared
- Bring professionalism, compassion, and kindness to every interaction
- Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing
- A genuine appreciation for and interest in serving the veteran community
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- A positive, supportive approach to patient care
- Flexible weekday scheduling
- No minimum coverage requirements beyond maintaining active status by working at least once every six months
