Please note: the salary range advertised in the position corresponds to the salary-equivalent amounts assuming fifty 40-hour work weeks in a year. Also, the top of this range ($63,916.19) includes the dollar amount of benefits, if all benefits are maximized. This figure is also based on performance and tenure.
Actual total compensation could technically be higher than this (if more hours are worked), but it may very well be less than this (if fewer hours are worked).
This position uses an hourly rate of $22.00-$24.87 per hour, but for the sake of comparison to traditional salaried positions, salary-equivalent amounts are also provided.
Excel Psychology is a growing team of 20 mental health providers specializing in psychological testing and therapy services.
As we grow, we need someone who is dedicated and independently motivated to maintain and establish processes for the good of the office environment. This is a position of high trust and we need an individual who takes initiative to seek out ways to contribute and who is a great communicator when issues arise.
Compensation starts at $22/hour and the initial agreement is as an employee without benefits. After 6 weeks of employment, employment with benefits status may be achieved, depending on performance. Upon achieving employment status, compensation increases to $23.83/hour and benefits become available:
- Health, dental, and vision insurance contribution for a personal insurance plan, and a lesser contribution for dependent plans.
- Up to 3 percent retirement contribution match.
- Paid breaks, up to 45 minutes per day.
- Additional benefits as will be explained.
A rate of $24.87/hour is considered, based on performance, at 15 months of tenure.
Tasks will involve the following:
- Field calls from prospective clients and share info about services
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Create detailed receipts of services
- Inform referring organizations of the progress of specific referrals
- Prepare, send, and follow-up on invoices for referring organizations
- Contact completed clients to ensure effective communication to outside treatment providers
- Track the timeliness of providers notes
- Keep track of inventory and provide information regarding purchases to make
- Restock inventory
- Prepare materials for appointments
- Organize and track materials
- Scan and file medical records
- Organize medical records
- Network with outside agencies and mental health providers
- Other tasks as assigned
Additional tasks may be assigned and some occasional travel (typically within a 40 mile radius) may be involved, although travel would be expected to be fairly rare.
