Job Duties
Driver Managers are expected to maintain effective communication with customers, drivers, and management to ensure the timeliness of freight and equipment movement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; dispatching and routing drivers on loads, managing loads from assignment to delivery, managing any problems that arise (e.g. late deliveries, unexpected fees/claims, equipment breakdown, driver problems, etc.), ensuring drivers abide by federal/state laws, answering phone lines, recommending strategies to generate resources and increase productivity.
Qualifications :
- Knowledge of DOT AND FMCSA regulations
- Proficient in Hours of Service
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Windows operations
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
