Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of office spaces, including desks, conference rooms, break areas, restrooms, and hallways using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct window cleaning to ensure clear visibility and enhance the appearance of the facility
- Handle laundry services for linens or employee uniforms as needed
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and chemical sprayers safely and effectively
- Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly to support infection control protocols
- Manage chemical handling procedures safely, including proper storage and disposal of cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines
- Perform heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or cleaning supplies to ensure thorough cleaning coverage
Skills
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning standards
- Skilled in window cleaning, pressure washing, floor care, and sanitation techniques
- Knowledge of chemical handling procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety during cleaning tasks
- Excellent manual handling skills for heavy lifting and moving equipment or furniture safely
- Strong customer service orientation to respond professionally to staff or visitor inquiries related to cleanliness or maintenance issues
- Ability to operate various cleaning tools and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Experience with infection control practices to maintain a hygienic environment in shared spaces
