Lionheart Cannabis is Montana's oldest Cannabis company, with locations throughout Western Montana. Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service in a safe and welcoming environment. are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cultivation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the care and maintenance of plants within our greenhouse environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, possess strong mechanical skills, and be able to perform heavy lifting as part of their daily tasks. This position is essential in ensuring the health and productivity of our crops.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in the greenhouse, including watering, fertilizing, and pruning plants.
- Operate irrigation systems effectively to ensure optimal plant growth.
- Identify and address any issues related to plant health, including pests and diseases.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment for planting, harvesting, and general upkeep of the cultivation area.
- Assist in the setup and management of growing environments to maximize yield.
- Conduct regular inspections of plants to monitor growth progress and identify any necessary adjustments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the greenhouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required for planting and harvesting activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in lawn care or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with plant identification and basic horticultural practices is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate greenhouse equipment effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as part of daily responsibilities.
- Basic math skills for measuring nutrients and calculating water needs.
- Previous experience in growing plants or working in a greenhouse setting is a plus.
- A strong work ethic with attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
