Salon Assistant – Salon Beau (Andover, MA)

Salon Beau is looking for a dedicated, hardworking Salon Assistant to join our team in Andover. This is an entry-level position with strong growth potential for someone serious about building a long-term career in the beauty industry.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid cosmetology license or graduating within the next month
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be available to work the following schedule: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 10AM-3PM, Saturday 7:30AM - 3:30PM
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, client-facing position. You will be assisting stylists on the floor while also being trained in front desk and reception responsibilities for backup. You’ll play a key role in maintaining the overall client experience from start to finish.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Assisting stylists with services
- Shampooing and preparing clients
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the salon
- Laundry, cleaning, and restocking (a large part of the role, especially in the beginning)
- Supporting front desk operations and guest experience

Compensation: Starting pay: $16.00 per hour. This position is designed for growth. Assistants who demonstrate strong work ethic, reliability, and skill development will have the opportunity to advance into a Co-Artist role and eventually transition into a Stylist position.
