Prager Brothers Artisan Breads is a family-owned bakery with specialization in traditional sourdough breads using fresh-milled flour and local ingredients. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Assistant Baker to join our team.
Available Shift: Fulltime, 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understands all of the necessary and often repetitive preparation steps required to produce hundreds of breads
- Operates large food production machinery
- Works with equipment safety and food safety in mind
- Ensures all bakery tasks are complete and of the highest quality.
- Supports the morning baking team to successfully execute high quality bread.
- Maintains a clean work environment
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

- History of great attendance and punctuality.
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Ability to multitask.
- Previous food production experience preferred.
- Availability on weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift 50lbs, sometimes multiple times a day

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. Such as bags of flour and other ingredients.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including warm environments near ovens, and/or cold environments in the refrigerator.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
