Job Summary:
The primary responsibilities of the Label Operator will be to work with production, scheduling and data management teams to generate labels for production jobs.

Essential Job Functions:
- Works with secure networks to create labels through programs set up by the data team.
- Works with the scheduling team
- Works with the affixing and packaging team to get pallet sizes
- Use, clean, and maintain Industrial Zebra label printers for daily operation.
- Ability to plan your daily printing schedule based on priorities given to you.
- Maintain and organize the label printing area
- Work overtime as needed to meet customer needs
- Prints labels for remakes
- Read and understand data
- Understand and perform intermediate math calculations.
- Will create documents/SOPs for new processes and/or new systems being used
- Review first article, data proofs, and other paperwork
- Perform these and other duties as assigned by Supervisor or other appropriate management personnel
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in a progressive, high-volume manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read and understand work and safety instructions in English
- Ability to manage multiple activities at different stages of complexity
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organization skills combined with structured problem solving and the ability to determine root cause, containment, and corrective actions
- Proficient computer skills/knowledge
- Must be proficient in Excel
