This position provides leadership in the imaging department to ensure consistent high-quality standards of care and patient outcomes. Maintain a positive working relationship with other department leaders, OR staff, providers, and additional ancillary services. This position provides direct care, coordinates the daily activities, and role models professional practice and customer service behaviors. The primary function of this position will be for OR needs but will step in for other imaging staff and leaders whenever necessary. This position is full-time 0.8 position, 8 hour shifts Monday - Thursday within the hours of 645 am and 715 pm with rotating call evenings, weekends and holidays.

Specific duties are determined by the work setting or patient population served; however, in all positions, serving patients with challenging and complex conditions requires a concentration of specialized staff able to work in highly coordinated teams. We organize care around each patient’s condition which requires staff at multiple levels and across many departments to exhibit exceptional teamwork qualities including communicating efficiently and effectively and adopting the behaviors required for high functioning integrated teams.
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly wage for this opportunity is $31.36/hour to $45.44/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including number of hours worked within the field, education, and certification/licensure. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. - Provides support and serves as a technical resource regarding imaging exam details, image quality, imaging systems and equipment.
- Monitors and holds staff and providers accountable for timely and accurate documentation of patient care.

- Ensures imaging equipment is operational, troubleshoot equipment issues and oversee service and preventative maintenance to resolution. Works with leadership to ensure quality control testing, and regulatory mandates are met or exceeded.

- Provides oversight to ensure images meet the expectations of the ordering physicians and radiologists.
- Ensures accountability through the use of quality dashboards and promotes transparency through reporting of near misses and medical errors.
- Provides meaningful feedback to staff and peers.
- Coordinates, collaborates, negotiates within the Imaging leadership team to positively resolve issues and work towards attainment of the team and organization goals.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience in one or more of the modalities within area(s) of responsibility
- Current ARRT and CPR certification
- Graduate of an accredited school or equivalent certification
Preferred
- Bachelors degree in imaging, management, or other healthcare related discipline
- Active involvement in professional associations
- Experience with pediatric and/or disabled populations
