Quidnessett Country Club is looking for experienced lifeguards for the spring and summer season.
Lifeguards are responsible for assisting with the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the pool and lifeguard staff. Such duties include lifeguarding, water rescue, and safety procedures in the prevention of injuries and emergency situations at the pool facility. Lifeguards also complete daily maintenance and cleaning of the pool/facility and respond to questions and inquiries from the public.
Must be available on weekday, weekends, holidays and special club events.

Duties
- Vigilantly monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and respond swiftly to emergencies using certified first aid and CPR skills.
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to promote a safe environment for swimmers of all ages.
- Conduct regular pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning filters, skimming debris, and inspecting pool equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Assist guests with pool access, provide information about pool facilities, and address guest inquiries with enthusiasm and professionalism.
- Perform routine pool cleaning activities such as scrubbing decks, checking chemical levels, and ensuring water quality meets health standards.
- Support overall pool area upkeep by performing minor repairs or notifying maintenance staff of larger issues requiring attention.
- Maintain accurate records of safety checks, incident reports, and cleaning schedules to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven lifeguard experience with current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
- Strong swimming ability with confidence in water rescue techniques.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures including chemical balancing and equipment inspection.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed for pool supplies or equipment handling.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to pool cleaning and safety inspections.
