Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and guest-focused year-round server to join our team! This is a long-term position and is not intended for seasonal or summer-only employment. Our restaurant is a fast-paced, high-volume environment known for creative breakfast and lunch dishes, specialty coffee drinks, and providing exceptional hospitality. We’re looking for someone who enjoys connecting with guests, thrives during busy shifts, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in creating a great dining experience every visit.
**Weekend availability is required, and applicants seeking temporary or summer-only employment will not be considered.**
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Prepare espresso beverages, specialty coffee drinks, and other beverage at our barista station.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are upheld
- bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly to prepare for new guests, and managing guest relations with professionalism
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and process payments securely, including cash handling and basic math calculations Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining settings or hospitality roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest inquiries gracefully
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy service periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and upselling opportunities
