Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tree Trimmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscape maintenance, with experience in various tree trimming techniques and equipment operation. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, ensuring the health and aesthetics of trees and landscapes for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to maintain the health and appearance of trees.
- Operate bucket trucks safely to access high branches for trimming and removal.
- Utilize rigging techniques to lower branches safely without damaging surrounding property.
- Removal of large trees
- Function around cranes
- Conduct regular inspections of trees to identify signs of disease or damage.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Proficient in tree care practices, including trimming, pruning, and removal techniques.
- Experience with bucket operation and bucket truck usage for high-access work.
- Knowledge of rigging methods for safe branch lowering and removal.
- Background in horticulture or growing experience is beneficial for understanding plant health.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all tasks performed.
