Job Description (General):
60" Slitter Operator
Slitter Operator is responsible for the set up and operation of slitting equipment to cut material to customer specified dimensions while ensuring that safety, quality and production standards are met.
Responsibilities:
60" Operator is responsible for performing complete set up and operational tasks of slitting to ensure compliance with customer specifications and production requirements.
Job Requirements
:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must possess a good work ethic
Must wear proper PPE (safety glasses, steel toe shoes, long Kevlar sleeves, gloves)
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, stoop, stretch
Team Player and positive attitude
Must be willing to learn
Ability to perform multiple tasks
Possess problem solving skills
Maintain housekeeping standards
Regular predictable attendance
Essential Functions:
Must have strong mathematical skills
Possess keen attention to detail
Perform tasks associated with Machine / Job set up (Safety, Quality, Accuracy, Time)
Accurate record keeping
Ability to meet schedules and timelines
Flexibility with overtime opportunities
Ability to operate Fork lift and overhead crane
Job Type: Full-time
