This position involves tasks in two areas of our Christian non-profit organization (Hovsepian Ministries) as well as our For-profit production company (JFA Studio) and therefore it involves wearing multiple hats in two very different worlds. We believe many skills can be learned, however the following qualities are highly preferred.
- Considering the nature of the organization, we expect that candidate to uphold the core beliefs and values of the Christian faith.
- Basic experience in executive administrative support and/or office operations; non-profit experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Internet); able to quickly learn new software applications
- Basic knowledge of Quick-Books accounting software or accounting in general
- Professional appearance and communications skills (written and verbal)
- Trustworthy, able to maintain appropriate confidentiality of donor and ministry information
- Reliable, in attendance and timely completion of work/projects
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and be organized
- Flexible, able to positively adapt to the changing needs of Hovsepian ministry
- Able to effectively communicate CHF’s mission, values and programs, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Experience in travel arrangements and scheduling calendar is a plus
- Some of the work will involve:
- General admin, writing emails, overseeing on-going projects, data entry, scanning and printing checks, basic accounting in Quick-books, communications internally between the staff and externally with our partners, clients and donors, production scheduling, processing orders.
You will be working as a contractor and payments will be processed as 1099 filling.
15-25 hours a week is required. Hours are quiet flexible and can be adjusted based on the work load.
