JOB
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members are trained volunteers who assist emergency services during disasters, large-scale incidents, and community events. Members provide support in non-hazardous roles and help improve overall community preparedness and response capabilities.
Compensation: This is a volunteer position with no monetary compensation. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
- Provide rehabilitation support for firefighters and first responders (hydration, food, basic medical monitoring)

Assist with light search and rescue operations during emergencies

Support severe weather monitoring and storm response efforts

Assist with emergency shelter operations during evacuations or disasters

Participate in disaster response and recovery efforts

Assist with public education and outreach on emergency preparedness

Provide scene support such as traffic control, perimeter assistance, and logistics as directed.
