A prestigious bridal salon in Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled and experienced alterations seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bridal fashion and a meticulous eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of alterations on bridal gowns, including but not limited to:
- Hemming
- Bustle creation and installation
- Taking in or letting out seams
- Adjusting straps and sleeves
- Minor repairs and adjustments
- Provide excellent customer service to brides, ensuring a positive and seamless alteration experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to strict deadlines and maintain a high level of quality in all work.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a bridal alterations seamstress.
- Proven expertise in working with delicate fabrics such as lace, silk, and beading.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional hand-sewing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
