Dependable Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our interdisciplinary hospice team on a PRN, Paid Per Visit basis.

No hospice experience? No problem. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing clinical support.
As a Hospice Registered Dietitian, you will provide individualized nutritional assessments and recommendations that support comfort, dignity, and quality of life for patients receiving end-of-life care. You will work closely with patients, families, and the hospice care team to ensure nutrition interventions align with each patient's goals of care.
This position is compensated on a per-visit basis, offering flexibility and autonomy while making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their loved ones.
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for hospice patients
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs and goals
- Educate patients, caregivers, and families on nutrition-related concerns and meal planning
- Provide practical recommendations that promote comfort-focused care
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
- Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
- Minimum of two years of experience in nutrition or dietary services preferred
- Hospice, home health, geriatric, or palliative care experience is a plus, but not required
- Arizona residency required
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Paid Per Visit compensation
- Mileage reimbursement at the current IRS federal mileage rate
