We are seeking a second shift Fabrication Technician to join our Production team and play an important role in producing high-quality, precision components.
The Fabrication Technician performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled fabrication, machining, grinding, and finishing operations. This position operates manual equipment, performs basic equipment setups, completes precision grinding and fabrication work, and inspects finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and interested in developing their skills in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Operate a variety of manual fabrication, machining, and grinding equipment.

Operate centerless grinders, cylindrical grinders, milling machines, and related support equipment.

Set up and operate surface grinders for a variety of grinding operations.

Operate core drills, Bridgeport mills, waxing ovens, and other production equipment.

Complete basic setups for assigned equipment.

Perform layout work and dress grinding wheels using required procedures and forms.

Use fixtures and tooling for grinding operations.

Grind and square parts to specified dimensions and lengths.

Grind required forms while maintaining tolerances specified on engineering drawings.

Use cutoff wheels to cut parts to specified dimensions and tolerances.

Inspect completed work using micrometers, Vernier calipers, gauges, indicators, surface plates, and other precision measuring equipment.

Accurately record production and inspection information.

Perform routine equipment maintenance.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Properly care for and maintain tools, fixtures, and equipment.

Perform other fabrication and production duties as assigned.

Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
- High school diploma or GED.

Previous experience in machining, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related field.

Ability to read and understand basic blueprints or engineering drawings.

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Ability to understand and follow written, verbal, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.

Ability to use precision measuring and inspection tools.

Must have appropriate machinist/fabrication tools.

This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment. The Fabrication Technician will work with machining, grinding, and fabrication equipment and is expected to follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
