Resurrection Lutheran School in beautiful Cary, NC is seeking a passionate and engaging Music Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position may be structured as either full-time or part-time depending on the candidate’s availability and gifts.
At RLS, we believe music is a joyful expression of God’s gifts and an important part of a Christ-centered education. We are looking for someone who loves working with children and can inspire students in Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade through music instruction, performance opportunities, and worship participation.
Responsibilities may include:
- General music instruction for elementary and middle school students (band experience is a plus)
- Preparing students for school programs and performances
- Assisting with chapel music
- Encouraging creativity, confidence, and a love for music in a nurturing environment
Qualified candidates should:
- Have experience working with children
- Possess strong classroom management and communication skills
- Be supportive of the mission and values of Christian education
- Hold a teaching license or degree in music education (preferred but not required depending on experience)
