Compensation: $50-$55 per hour (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)

Responsibilities:
- Embark on comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, diving deep into patients' oral health history, conducting oral health screenings, and meticulously charting their dental condition.
- Conduct professional dental cleaning procedures, including gentle scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, while always maintaining the highest standards of infection control protocols.
- Be an oral health educator extraordinaire! Empower patients with valuable oral hygiene instructions, teaching them the best brushing and flossing techniques, and emphasizing the significance of preventive dental practices.
- Be a keen observer, quickly spotting oral health issues such as periodontal disease, tooth decay, and anomalies, and effectively communicate your findings to the dentist for further evaluation and treatment planning.
- Capture crystal-clear dental X-rays and lend a hand with other diagnostic procedures to ensure accurate diagnosis and personalized care.
- Administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide when required, following state regulations and dentist's instructions, ensuring patients' comfort throughout their visit.
- Keep meticulous records of patients' treatment plans, progress notes, and consent forms, maintaining an organized and efficient workflow.
- Foster strong teamwork and collaboration, ensuring seamless patient care by coordinating appointments and referrals when necessary.
- Stay at the forefront of dental hygiene techniques and technologies through continuous education and professional development, always striving to provide the best care possible.
Qualifications:
- Hold a valid state dental hygiene license
- Have completed an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Exhibit excellent knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, instruments, and equipment, combined with a gentle touch.
- Showcase exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, connecting effortlessly with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and safety.
- Thrive in a fast-paced dental environment, excelling both as an independent performer and a supportive team player.
- Be familiar with dental software and electronic health records systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
