About Lonestar Behavior Collaborative
The Lonestar Behavior Collaborative is an Austin-based ABA practice committed to providing individualized, evidence-based behavior support wherever clients need it most. We prioritize thoughtful clinical decision-making, meaningful outcomes, ethical practice, and strong relationships with the individuals and families we serve.
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically strong BCBA who wants the autonomy of community-based work without being treated like a number in a large corporate system.
Position Overview
The BCBA will provide assessment, treatment planning, caregiver training, protocol modification, staff supervision, and other clinically necessary ABA services in clients’ homes and community settings.
This is a part-time hourly W-2 position with the potential to grow as the clinician’s caseload develops. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, communicating proactively, and providing high-quality services across a varied caseload. When available, remote work is allowed; however, the clinician is expected to visit the client's home at least once or twice per month.
Compensation
- $45.00 per hour for all approved hours worked
- W-2 employment
- Flexible, part-time scheduling
- Mileage reimbursed at $0.70 per mile
- Travel between clients is reimbursed.
- Mileage from the final client of the day back to the employee’s home is reimbursed.
- Ordinary travel from home to the first client of the day is not reimbursed.
- Caseload and hours may grow based on availability, performance, client needs, and funding authorization
Primary Responsibilities

- Model intervention procedures and provide competency-based performance feedback.
- Monitor client progress through ongoing data review and visual analysis.
- Modify programming based on client performance, treatment integrity, caregiver priorities, and clinical need.
- Provide caregiver training that is practical, collaborative, and responsive to family circumstances.
- Coordinate care with families, schools, physicians, therapists, and other professionals when authorized.
- Complete session documentation, treatment-plan updates, authorization materials, and other required records accurately and on time.
- Maintain compliance with BACB requirements, Texas licensure standards, payer requirements, HIPAA, and company policies.
- Communicate promptly regarding scheduling concerns, clinical barriers, safety issues, and significant changes in client status.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultation, training, and quality-assurance activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Current Texas license as a Licensed Behavior Analyst, or eligibility to obtain licensure before providing services

- Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing in-home or community-based ABA services
- Experience with caregiver training and parent-implemented intervention
- Familiarity with common ABA funding-source documentation and authorization requirements
- Experience serving clients with complex behavioral, communication, adaptive, or developmental needs
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort working with clients across age ranges and levels of support need
