Overview
Fulton & Roark is seeking a part-time freelance Fragrance Specialist to represent our brand at Saks Fifth Avenue in Houston. The Fragrance Specialist is responsible for bringing the Fulton & Roark story to life through storytelling, customer connection, and in-store presence. This role is essential in introducing new customers to the brand, fostering lasting relationships, educating the retail team, and building overall awareness of Fulton & Roark within the luxury retail environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver an elevated customer experience that reflects the unique stories, locations, and notes behind each Fulton & Roark fragrance
- Drive store-level performance by building customer relationships, supporting in-store activations, and motivating the retail team
- Educate the retail team through product trainings, ongoing communication, and by sharing insights and recommendations with your Account Executive
- Act as a true brand ambassador, building awareness and enthusiasm for Fulton & Roark among customers and store partners
- Maintain consistent visual merchandising and ensure the brand presentation meets Fulton & Roark’s standards
Core Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in luxury retail, preferably in fragrance or beauty
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Confident in storytelling, relationship-building, and selling in a high-touch retail environment
- Comfortable leading product education sessions and working closely with store teams
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and remain active on the sales floor for extended periods
Availability & Expectations
- This is a part-time freelance position averaging 10–12 hours per week
- Weekend availability is required, with at least one weekend day expected each week
- Scheduling may vary based on store traffic, events, and brand activations
- Includes a paid training program and complimentary product to support product knowledge and confident selling
- Candidates should be self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and maintain regular communication with their Account Executive
