Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, following established recipes and standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales of beverages and food items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and assisting with beverage recipe development to keep offerings fresh and innovative
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by checking IDs and recognizing signs of intoxication to ensure guest safety
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to coordinate service flow during busy hours and special events
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender with strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail creation, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality service
- Previous experience in fine dining is preferred
- Food safety standards and proper handling of beverages and food items
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and measuring ingredients accurately
- Experience in beverage recipe development and understanding of beverage trends is a plus
Pay: From $11.35 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
