Position Overview: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Clinic-Based
As an RBT at The ITD Group’s Conyers clinic, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in our state-of-the-art clinic environment at 2415 Wall Street, Conyers, GA 30013.
This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, client-focused, and passionate about supporting children with autism and other developmental disabilities in a supportive, collaborative clinic setting.
What You Will Bring
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active RBT certification (BACB) in good standing
- Passion for working with children and making a real difference in their lives
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and ethical standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, flexible, and responsive to client needs
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Willingness and ability to complete thorough session documentation promptly and accurately in Motivity
Preferred:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an ABA setting
- Previous experience working with children with autism or developmental delays in a clinic setting
- Background in special education or related field
- Familiarity with data collection systems and ABA software
- Safety Care training certification
What You’ll Do
- Deliver direct ABA therapy following individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans with procedural fidelity
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction strategies exactly as designed by your supervising BCBA
- Support development in communication, social skills, daily living, academics, and play
- Collect accurate, real-time session data using Motivity software on every target in every session
- Complete comprehensive session notes immediately after each session, documenting that medically necessary services were delivered in accordance with the treatment plan
- Utilize AAC devices and interactive game systems to enhance therapy engagement
- Collaborate closely with supervising BCBAs, the Clinical Director, and our transdisciplinary team
- Participate in regular supervision sessions and implement BCBA feedback consistently between sessions
- Communicate professionally with caregivers and position families as active partners in their child’s program
- Generalize skills across activities and settings to promote long-term independence
- Maintain a safe, organized, and respectful therapy environment at all times
- Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training opportunities
Compensation & Performance-Based Growth
We use a structured annual performance evaluation system that assesses RBTs across five areas: clinical skills and session delivery, response to supervision and professional growth, documentation accuracy and timeliness, attendance and reliability, and professional conduct. High performers—those who consistently exceed expectations—are eligible for merit increases of 5–7% plus bonus consideration. RBTs who meet expectations receive 3–4% annual merit increases.
