SWBC is seeking a talented individual who will partner with senior and executive leadership to define product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and drive the development of innovative solutions. Will be responsible for managing a portfolio of products offered to financial institutions and sold to their members during the auto loan origination process. These products are designed to protect the loan and underlying collateral while generating valuable non-interest income for the financial institution. This role requires balancing client needs, market opportunities, regulatory requirements, and business objectives to deliver products that enhance member value and support the financial institution's growth and profitability. Will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and launch. Will also be responsible for monitoring product performance and driving continuous improvement to ensure product growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong product development background and proven ability to lead and drive results.

Essential duties include the following:

Define and prioritize product features based on customer feedback and market trends.

Conduct customer research and analysis to inform product decisions, reporting findings to senior management to help drive client advisory board discussions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.

Monitor and report product performance metrics to senior management.

Stay up to date with market trends and competitive analysis through regular competitive analysis and virtual market research.

Assist senior product managers with pricing proposals and responses.

Develop and mentor junior members of the product team.

Assist in the development of divisional culture and display positive actions to junior members.

Collaborates with expense stakeholders to ensure the product maintains a healthy net income.

Utilize pricing and expense models to make informed decisions.

Assist with cost center research for budgeting purposes.

Create active corrective items in Sales Force as indicated by Senior Management, monitor and report status to senior management.

Collaborate with Operations, Data Solutions and partner with Sales & Account Management to deliver meaningful and actionable performance analysis to Key Clients.

Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in product management and development, preferably within the consumer lending, credit union or banking sectors.

Strong background in people leadership, client relations, and product analysis.

Strong understanding of auto and loan protection products such as GAP, warranties, and prepaid maintenance.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with product analytics tools and methodologies.

Passion for technology and innovation.

Able to travel locally and/or nationally.
