AI Engineer — Agentic Systems

We're looking for a strong software engineer with a focus on AI — ideally agentic AI systems — to join our team. The ideal candidate has a track record of building and shipping quality software, solid full-stack fundamentals, and hands-on experience designing systems where AI agents plan, reason, or take action autonomously.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications, with an emphasis on agentic workflows (multi-step reasoning, tool use, autonomous task execution)
- Develop quality software and web applications end-to-end
- Optimize code and system architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Write and maintain automated tests, including for AI-driven components
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
- Stay current on new AI methodologies, agent frameworks, and tools, and evaluate them for fit
Technologies (or eager to learn)
- LLM APIs and agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Anthropic/OpenAI APIs, or similar)
- Docker & Kubernetes
- AWS
Qualifications (no dealbreakers here)
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience building with LLMs or AI agents — production experience a plus, side projects count too
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field

Pay: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
