- Job Title: Trim Die Operator
- Shift hours: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm
- Pay: $20/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURABLES:
Safety Compliance:
o Consistently wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) each day.
o Proactively identify and report any safety hazards to the immediate supervisor for timely
resolution.
o Operate within the framework of all safety and housekeeping policies outlined by the company,
ensuring a secure and organized work environment.
o Adhere to all safety requirements and policies, including the completion of daily checklists to ensure a secure work environment.
Quality Assurance Product Inspection:
o Adhere to all work instructions relevant to the job, producing parts without defects.
o Alert the supervisor promptly if a part is identified as nonconforming, maintaining high-quality standards.
o Utilize precision measuring instruments to meticulously measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects, ensuring strict adherence to specifications.
o Ensure strict adherence to specifications, maintaining high-quality standards in the production process.
o Assume responsibility for the quality of products, actively contributing to meeting company objectives of maintaining a shipment rate below 2500 parts per million (ppm).
Delivery Adherence:
o Meet production goals outlined in the plan, ensuring the timely delivery of scheduled parts.
o Maintain a productivity rate of 95% or better to contribute to efficient operations.
o Achieve time and efficiency standards specified for each production order, aligning with actual standards on the build plan and machine capability.
Machine Operation and Adjustment:
o Demonstrate proficiency in adjusting and operating trim press machines and associated equipment with precision.
o Conduct thorough self-inspection throughout the trimming process to ensure the quality of parts meets established standards.
o Take responsibility for the build plan sign-off before moving the product to the next operation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
o Follow all work instructions provided by management, contributing to a consistent and efficient
production process.
o Ensure that all products are packed in the appropriate boxes to prevent damage throughout the remaining manufacturing processes.
o Ability to adjust and operate trim press machines and associated equipment.
Varied Responsibilities:
o Perform any other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 0 to 1-year experience in utilizing a trim press.
High school graduate preferredOTHER SUBJECTIVE CRITERIA:
Must be able to communicate both written and orally in English, bilingual preferred.
Must maintain prompt and regular attendance.
May be required to work irregular shifts and in different departments to facilitate production schedule.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
Hands and feet dexterity required to operate heavy equipment.
Must be able to work in a fluxuating temperature environment (hot/cold).
