We are a medium size residential and 4 plex property owner and manager company.
Seeking a residential and apartment building Painter and Handyman to maintain properties with skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying high-quality paint and coatings. Handyman skills are helpful but not required. We value motivated individuals who are passionate about craftsmanship, safety, and job satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray systems), and other hand or power tools
- Interpret surface preparation instructions to execute projects accurately
- Perform painting tasks such as drywall finishing
- Follow safety regulations diligently by using respiratory protection equipment, adhering to safety protocols on construction sites, and maintaining a clean work environment
- Assist in renovation projects by installing fixtures, trim carpentry, framing, caulking joints, and performing light handyman tasks as required
Experience
- Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety standards
- Skilled in surface preparation techniques including construction painting surface preparation and restoration work
- Familiarity with various painting methods such as brush painting, roller painting, construction spray painting (including industrial painting), and airless paint spraying
- Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities accurately
- Construction site experience with adherence to safety regulations including respiratory protection use

Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
