This position involves the direct supervision and guidance of the Detention Center Staff, is responsible for the assigned shift supervision of the Detention Center's Youth Program, the screening of admissions to the Detention Center, and provides Juvenile Justice Center liaison services to law enforcement agencies requesting judicial authorization for special needs; attends and participates in Juvenile Justice Center meetings, maintains all established Juvenile Justice Center official records, is responsible for the safety/security of the Center and the welfare of detained youth, and other related duties.
