We're looking for an Account Manager who thrives on building relationships, closing sales, and delivering five-star projects from start to finish.
Position Overview
As an Account Manager, you'll own the customer experience from the first in-home consultation through final project completion. This is a hybrid role that combines sales, customer service, and project management.
You'll meet homeowners, prepare estimates, educate customers on products and solutions, close projects, schedule work, manage crews, communicate throughout the project, and ensure every customer becomes a lifelong fan of TrueCoat.

ResponsibilitiesSales & Estimating
- Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners.
- Inspect projects and recommend the best painting or staining solutions.
- Prepare accurate estimates and proposals.
- Explain products, coatings, colors, and application methods.
- Follow up on estimates and convert leads into booked projects.
- Meet monthly sales goals while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Project Management
- Schedule projects with customers and production crews.
- Order materials and coordinate project logistics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project.
- Perform job-site visits to ensure quality, cleanliness, and schedule adherence.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns quickly and professionally.
- Conduct final walkthroughs and ensure customer satisfaction before project closeout.
Customer Experience
- Deliver a five-star experience from first contact through final payment.
- Build lasting relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
- Request online reviews upon project completion.
- Maintain detailed customer notes within our CRM.
- Communicate proactively with customers, office staff, and production teams.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in sales, project management, home services, or customer success preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable meeting homeowners in their homes
- Highly organized with excellent time management
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented and proactive
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable using CRM software, Google Workspace, and mobile technology
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Residential painting
- Construction
- Remodeling
- Roofing
- Flooring
- Home improvement
- Interior design
- Property management
